But let's be real – mastering the art of listening isn’t a walk in the park. So, if you've ever found yourself planning your next move while someone's talking, or simply spacing out, here are some FG-approved tips to level up your listening game:

1. Face the Person: This one’s straight outta the sunnah. If the Prophet ﷺ did it, we should too. nuff said.

2. Maintain Eye Contact: This isn't a stare-down, but locking eyes shows you're engaged. It's the age-old sign of respect.

4. Hold Your Horses: Resist the urge to jump in, even if you've got a killer point. Let them finish. It's about the convo, not just your contribution.

5. Reflect & Clarify: No harm in playing it back. "So, what you're saying is..." ensures you got the message loud and clear.

6. Be Open, Not Judgmental: Listen without preconceived notions. Every perspective is a window into a different world. Peek in.

7. Practice Active Listening: This isn't just nodding along. It's about truly absorbing, processing, and responding thoughtfully.
