🤯 How to Stress Less & Live More

I was having a sit-down with a Muslim psychologist, a real genius when it comes to mental well-being.

And he drops this pearl of wisdom on me—manage your stress, and you might just sidestep a whole parade of mental health issues waiting to rain on your parade.

Basically, keeping the stress at bay is like dodging potholes on the road of life—do it well, and you’ll enjoy a smoother ride.

And lemme be clear — I’m no doctor. My domain is brewing that perfect cup of joe and spinning tales on a podcast mic.

But here’s 3 pieces of advice I’ve found help reduce my stress:

1. Adhkar: Your Spiritual Anchor

Remembrance of Allāh is that peace away from the chaos.

Engaging in the remembrance of Allah isn’t just a retreat; it’s your spiritual anchor in the stormy seas of daily life.

Just a few moments dedicated to adhkar daily can be huge, much like a sturdy shelter protects you from the storm.

It’s like having an invisible shield, keeping you calm and composed, no matter what life throws your way.

2. Sleep: The Unsung Hero of Stress Management

This is a big one for me. Let’s talk about the unsung hero of stress management— good, quality sleep.

Think of it as the foundation of a fortress; without it, the walls can crumble at the slightest shake.

Prioritizing sleep is like investing in the finest bricks for your fortress.

It's about giving your body and mind the rest they need to repair, rejuvenate, and prepare for another day’s challenges.

3. Laughter: The Salt of Life

And then, there’s laughter, the salt in the feast of life.

Just as a dish without salt might taste bland, a life without laughter can feel a bit dull.

Sure, laughter should be sprinkled with a wise hand—not too little, and not too much. But when the moment calls for it, a good laugh can light up the room like a well-placed chandelier.

So there you have it, my friends — three nuggets of wisdom to help manage that pesky stress.

Remember, stay light on your feet, find your moments of peace, and don’t forget to laugh.

In a world full of distractions, isolation and a war on men, Ameen is standing up to give Muslim men the secret to his successful online business, hijrah and marriage.

Most ambitious men have big goals for their finances, marriage, health and ibadah but often falls short when it comes to actually taking consistent action.

A lot of men also keep their goals to themselves and if they fail, they do so in silence and no one is there to pick them up, push them forward and keep them going when their motivation fizzles out.

The Front Row fixes this through brotherhood, accountability and experienced Islamic coaching.

So if you’re an ambitious Muslim man looking to up your game in 2024 then learn more in this short video here.
