🚨 Emergency Alert Day!

Today is emergency alert day. At 3pm in the UK on Sunday 23rd April the gov will be sending out an emergency alert as a test on everyones phones, even if it’s on silent.

Now being that I (Faisal) am currently outside of the UK and have experienced this alert for a weather warning during my child’s parents evening a few weeks back …

I actually have no end to that sentence I just wanted to make you feel jealous cos I got there first.

Ex-Apple designer Imran Chaudhri shows us what’s being worked on in the future of phones and stuff. Dude was able to see a phone notification that was projected onto his hand when it rang!

What Else is Happening:

• We opened up applications for our members-only private community in our last newsletter and you guys loved the idea! It will take us some time to get round all the applications but you can continue to apply here.

• Business idea: this wearable chair could be a gamechanger for those who need to sit during sujood/ruku. (Would have to get the permissibility of it checked by a scholar, of course)

• The way this masjid is doing social media is how it should be done. Love how you feel like a part of their community even if your 1000’s of miles away.
