Lessons from the Little Bosses: What We Can Learn From Our KidsĀ

In the family business of life, my two little bossesā€”a fearless 4-year-old and a daring 2-year-old have schooled me in the art of living boldly.

These miniature powerhouses have laid down some rules that even the most seasoned of us can learn from. Letā€™s break down some life lessons we can learn from our kids.

1. Ask Questions, No Matter How Hot the Seat

My eldest never lets a subject rest. "Why's the sky blue, Dad?"Ā ā€œWho made the floor?ā€ It's a relentless pursuit of knowledge.

In life, asking the right questions isnā€™t just about curiosityā€”it's about staying two steps ahead.

We gotta start challenging the status quo again, looking for the angles, keeping our minds sharp. The world's a complex place, and the more we understand it, the better we navigate its streets.

2. Take RisksĀ

Now, the my 2 year old, he's got guts. Climbing higher, running faster, all inā€”he doesnā€™t just dip his toes in the water; he dives headfirst into the unknown.

Hereā€™s the thing: life's a high-stakes game, and playing it safe is a surefire way to end up running in circles.

We gotta embrace the uncertainty, make those bold moves, even if it means we might take a hit. Remember, every empire was built by those who dared to dream big and didnā€™t flinch when the odds were stacked against them.

3. Loyalty and Forgiveness: The Family Code

Here's where the heart of the family lies.

These kids, they love like they've never been double-crossed and forgive like they've never been wronged.

It's about that unconditional loyalty, that bond that holds the family together through thick and thin.

We got to start looking out for our own with that same fierceness, forgiving the missteps, and moving forward without looking back.

It's this code of loyalty and forgiveness that makes us untouchable in a world that's all too ready to push us around.

Taking cues from my two little bossmen has been an eye-opener, a reminder of the raw, unfiltered essence of life.

Their curiosity, bravery, and unwavering love are not just child's play; they're the blueprint for a life lived fully and fearlessly. So, letā€™s roll up our sleeves, keep our family close, and hustle with the heart and curiosity of a kid.
